TaylorMade Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd has a clear and transparent pricing system. Our helpful and experienced 24-hour office team will make customers aware of our rates at the time the job is booked in.
We do not charge for call-outs, travel time, fuel, or for our two-hour emergency response (subject to availability), unlike many of our competitors.
Charges are per hour + VAT. 1 hour minimum then in 15 minute increments.

Additional Informations
Payment must be made in full upon receipt of invoice by BACS, credit/debit card or cash. We have a chip and pin machine where you can pop into the office to make payment.
Estimates are generally non-chargeable, but T&C do apply.
Fixed prices are subject to VAT and can be provided either verbally or in writing upon request before work commences.
Materials are charged at a trade plus 25% mark up and are subject to VAT.
Material collection for non-stock items is kept to a minimum and will not exceed 45 minutes of the current hourly rate for that trade
Invoices are digital (hard copies available upon request) and show a full description of works including times and full breakdown of labour and materials.
Insurance reports are charged a normal £50 + VAT.
We do not charge for credit card payments.

We recognise that having work carried out in your home can be stressful and we take care to arrive when we say we will, finish within our indicated job time scale and guarantee mess to be minimal.
All prices listed, are labour only and do not include any materials. Except boiler Installations.
All prices are guides only and not strictly binding. All properties vary and therefore so will prices.
All materials can be supplied at very competitive prices, or you can source your own.
Overcharging
We handle emergency calls within hours. For routine work, we schedule at your convenience. When something breaks, we understand time matters.We charge correctly and fairly for our work. We always charge according to our quoted rates. Because we believe in giving a value for money service, as we rely on the recommendations of satisfied customers.
We will always take responsibility for our charges and if you think that you have been overcharged, please call our office. We will resolve your issue, verifying times charged for, and material costs.
We will:
- - Not overcharge customers under any circumstances.
- - Not carry out any unnecessary work.
- - Not talk customers into any work that is not needed.
- - Not charge for any wasted or unnecessary time when undertaking your
work. - - Not charge for two tradesmen on two-handed work unless necessary – an apprentice will be used wherever possible.
- - Not charge for excessive time spent collecting materials, collection times over 60 minutes must be agreed with the customer.
- - Not charge an excessive trade mark-up on materials – a maximum of up to 20% is company policy.
- - Not charge for unnecessary time spent away from the job, and always keep customer informed when leaving the job.
- - Not charge for non-work related phone calls, or engage in them during working time.
- - Make sure that we only charge for time spent at a job and the number of hours worked.
- - Make sure that any estimated work that is costed at our day rate of 8 hours.
- - Make sure that we work a full 8 hour day when on a day rate.
- - Make sure that the cost of any fixed price work is within 10% of that which the job would have cost at our hourly rates.
- - Make sure we present an invoice showing a comprehensive description of work, with a full breakdown of labour & materials.
