It is important to have all gas appliances checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safe operation.
Central Heating Estimates
Written estimates are emailed within 48 hours of the visit and are valid for six months. Hard copies can be posted on request.
Site visits provide a detailed breakdown of costs and schedules. Estimates are generally free of charge; however, some may incur a fee depending on the nature of the work, time, and location of your appointment.
Should you wish to proceed with the work, any charge made for the estimate will be deducted from your final invoice.
Materials
Materials supplied by TaylorMade are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty. This usually covers the replacement or repair of faulty goods within a fixed period, typically 12 months.
Guarantee terms are legally enforceable, and details on how to make a claim will be provided clearly where applicable. This is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
Boiler
We recommend leading brands such as Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, and Ideal to keep your home warm and energy efficient, along with Gas Safe approved installation and testing.
In the event that you experience any issues with your boiler during the warranty period, you will need to contact the boiler manufacturer directly.

What is involved in a boiler service?
We advise on the boiler that would be best suited to your heating system and your budget, however we have extended warranties with Vaillant and Worcester Bosch.
A comprehensive boiler service should include the following:
- Carry out as per manufacturer’s instructions (where required)
- A flue combustion test
- Inspection of boiler and controls
- Visual check for corrosion and leaks
- Clean heat exchanger and flue ways
