PLUMBING

Our estimates are available Monday – Friday between 8am-5pm and, if necessary, appointments can be made outside of these hours. In urgent cases we can start work immediately.

Written estimates are emailed within 48hours of the visit and are valid for six months. Hard copies can be posted on request.
Site visits provide you with a detailed breakdown of the cost and schedule. Estimates are generally non-chargeable but some may incur charges depending on the nature of works, time, and location of your appointment. Should you wish to proceed with the work any charge made from your estimates will be deducted from your final invoice.

For your peace of mind, we guarantee most of our jobs against faulty workmanship for twelve months.
Due to the nature of certain work or repairs such as drain blockages, we are unable to provide the twelve-month labour guarantee. This will be clearly marked on your invoice.

Materials

Materials are parts supplied by TaylorMade and will be covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty. This usually guarantees replacement or repair of faulty goods within a fixed period, which is usually twelve months.
Guarantees are legally enforceable and details on how to make a claim should be included clearly. This is in addition to your rights as a buyer, which should be made clear in the guarantee.

Boiler

We recommend leading brands Vaillant and Worcester and Ideal to keep your home warm offering exclusive and Gas Safe testing.
In the event that you experience problems with your boiler product within the warranty, you will need to liaise with the boiler manufacturer.

To minimise water damage to your property, it is advised to turn off your mains water supply at the stop cock. This is usually located at the kitchen sink.
In an emergency we aim to be with you within two hours.
No. We charge a one-hour minimum fee and then every fifteen minutes after this.

Our team of Gas Safe registered heating engineers undertake all types of breakdown repairs quickly and efficiently. Our services include fault finding and diagnostic solution. We are accredited with Vaillant and Worcester as preferred installers in London offering up to 12-year warranties.

Extended Boiler Warranties

TaylorMade is an accredited and recommended installer with leading manufacturers Vaillant and Worcester Bosch.

Central Heating Servicing

Annual servicing is recommended to keep your boiler in good, safe, working order – this also reduces the risk of costly breakdowns.

Gas Safety Check

It is important to have all your gas appliances checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safe operation.

We advise on the boiler that would be best suited to your heating system and your budget, however we have extended warranties with Vaillant and Worcester Bosch.

Blocked drains can be one of the most unpleasant, distressing and potentially dangerous issues for homeowners.
Our drains engineers have expertise in solving all types of drainage issues from blockages in waste pipe to main drain specially equipped vans contain the latest equipment (including CCTV) enabling detailed inspections and reports if requested (e.g for insurance purpose).
TaylorMade will always work cleanly and efficiently ensuring that your premises are left clean and tidy following their visit.

CCTV Drain Inspection

High end CCTV equipment allows our engineer to make detailed inspection of drain or pipe systems, which is not easily accessible. The CCTV camera will quickly allow identification of any problem not immediately apparent while providing early detection and prevention of future issues.

After reviewing the footage and identifying problems or potential problems and assessing the conditions of the existing system, recommendations are made by the engineer for any immediate or long-term action. The footage is then available for the customer to view.

If appropriate after CCTV survey, one non-destructive process and very effective solution is Drain Lining. The process involves jetting out pipes before inserting an exporting saturated polymer using another (removable) pressurised tube, which ensures a tight bond to the original pipe and sets to form a pipe within a pipe which will last for many years.
The non-destructive process eliminates the need for costly and often major excavation and can be carried out by our qualified drain engineers.

Drain Survey for Your Next Home

Our engineers can also carry out CCTV drain survey (for potential home purchases before completion) on a property drainage system and provide a detailed report by request on any structural damage and possible future problems.

BOILER SERVICES

INSTALLATION | SERVICE | REPAIR

Defines Scope Boiler Service £95 + VAT (minimum level)

Full scope boiler service (Plus combustion seals if required) £149 + VAT.

Where an appliance cannot be repaired or serviced due to poor installation or has not been installed in accordance with manufacturers instructions or current Gas Safety regulations, the minimum charge will apply at the current prevailing rate.

We provide minimal and extensive servicing procedures for Vaillant and all major boiler manufacturers appliances. We also provide extended services related to your central heating and control systems.

Although servicing procedures differ considerably depending on the appliance being the older (non-condense) boiler or more modern condensing boilers. We try and keep things simple.
We have two levels of servicing and charges reflect each level.

Boiler Servicing

Boiler servicing is a contentious issue within the heating industry. There are split views and opinions as to the levels of servicing.

The ‘Define Scope’ which is the absolute minimum level, which we describe as the British Gas or Homeserve type service.

‘Full Scope’ service, which is full intrusive to the boiler and includes:

  • Draining boiler
  • Removal of components
  • Cleaning and replacing warn parts and seals required.

Recorded warranty service is mandatory to fulfil the requirements of your parts & labour guarantee. £95 + VAT 1st and 2nd year warranty service.

Heatrae Sadie Megaflo

We carry out repairs, servicing, and installations of Megaflo systems and Vaillant, Worcester boilers in and around London and Surrey area.

We currently hold the required qualifications and licenses to work on pressurised hot water systems and more.

Every engineer holds the minimum of the following:

Standard service are included in every repair visit. The servicing for the Megaflo is minimal. If you require just a service, please call us to arrange a visit.

Repairs

Megaflo Repairs

Does not include repairs to hot and cold supplies or any domestic plumbing systems including draining of cylinder where required and replacement of all megaflo components, where faulty.

Fixed rate repair charges £199 + VAT

Descaling – Electrical Units Only
  • Full pump out of cylinder
  • Removal of scale from cylinder.
  • Replacement of heating element where required.
  • Recommissioning of cylinder and controls.

Fixed charge £299 + VAT

Charges are fixed with unlimited time on visit. The charges do not include the cost of any spare parts required.
